Maraikoh has to fight Froug in the first round of the Other World Tournament. At first, Maraikoh laughes at Froug, taunting him because of the size difference.
However, Froug then expands his belly in order to push Maraikoh out of the ring. Maraikoh retaliates by lifting Froug up and tossing him outside the ring. During the semi-finals, he battles Goku and is defeated after being thrown from the arena by the tail. During a filler segment in the Kid Buu Saga, Maraikoh is seen watching Olibu lifting a giant rock in the episode "Sacred World of the Kais".
Both Maraikoh, Froug, and Olibu make a cameo appearance in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. He also makes a cameo appearance in the episode "Universal Allies" of Dragon Ball GT, training under South Kai.
