7000 years ago, Mijorin fought off an army of evil invaders. After his death, he was allowed to keep his body and was trained by North Kai. He meets Goku on Grand Kai's planet, and throughout the Other World Tournament, he recognizes Goku's amazing fighting abilities.
Mijorin also makes a cameo appearance in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. He also appears in the episode "Universal Allies" of Dragon Ball GT, where he seen training under South Kai with Torbie, Froug and Maraikoh before giving energy to Goku's Universal Spirit Bomb.
